Function

The heart chakra is the central chakra and therefore the balancer of all the other chakras, residing in the middle of the chest between the 4th and 5th thoracic vertebrae. It represents the “bridge” between our physical and spiritual selves and its function is to balance our whole being – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It is the most delicate of the chakras and when out of balance can cause upset to the whole system.
