Musician Ian Kenny
Born into a family of musicians, Ian was singing harmonies at the ripe old age of 5 with his Father. At age 9, he was singing solo at various events in his home town.
By the time he started secondary school, Ian began to show interest in the Guitar.
At age 15 years Ian was playing rhythm guitar and singing in a well known Band in Scotland. A few years later, Ian was firmly established as Lead Guitarist in the Top Band of Scotland: The Dream Police.
Ian moved to London with his band when he was 20 years old, the band were successful but personalities in the band forced a split up. Ian then embarked on a solo career. Ian was signed to Carlin Music Publishers 3 years later, and spent the next 7 years with Carlin Music, collaborating and writing various projects with other Named Artist of the day.
Taking time out from writing, Ian was keen to explore music Recording & Production and was fortunate to secure a position with the world leading Stage, Sound & Lighting company TASCO. Ian spent 8 years travelling the world as chief Sound Engineer for many Top Acts such as: ELO, The Who, Cher, The Allman Brothers, Al Jareau, George Benson, Donna Summer, Emmy Lou Harris, Peter Gabriel to name but a few.
About 15 years ago Ian was introduced by his partner to some Holistic Healing Therapies, and almost immediately realised the potential that Music & Sound had to offer these healing therapies. Ian learned among other things, about the Chakras, (the crossing points of the Meridians running through our bodies) and the effect that Specific Sound had on them. He learned that the Chakras have their Special Colour and Key (note). After studying this and other aspects of Healing and Inner Awareness, Ian produced his first Healing Sound CD. This was the first of many projects which led to working with other Mediums, Clairvoyants and Healers.
Currently, Ian has 2 New Meditation CDs. The Magical Path which has a running time of 20 minutes, is focused on Balancing the Chakras, written in 7 sections each of which are in the key of the Targeted Chakra. This is a great way of quickly relaxing at the end of a stressful day. Peaceful Energy is also written in the keys of the Chakras but the composition enhances more energetic tendencies and is great to start the day with, or performing Tai Chi. (running time 20 minutes).
The Magical Path & Peaceful Energy CDs are very useful aids when used with other Therapies ,ie: Flower Essences, Crystal Healing, Acupuncture or aromatherapy.
As they are "unguided" (music only) they are perfect for "mood music" when you have friends round, because aware or not the Vibrational Healing takes place.
